The slide has a heavy tri-cut angle top and lightening ports, allowing the slide to cycle quicker for faster follow up shots.

The TRS Commander is the first Commander-sized Nighthawk Custom model built on a double stack frame. A match grade 4.25” stainless barrel is housed in a commander frame and monolithic slide. The full-length dust cover provides added weight to the front of the pistol, helping reduce muzzle flip when firing. This model features a fluted barrel hood, IOS cut, and Sand Hawk-style serrations.

Federal is a manufacturer and innovator of the highest quality ammunition for more than a century now, and these commemorative pistols are a testament to the quality Federal has maintained. A limited run of 100 pistols were custom designed and hand built by Nighthawk Custom in collaboration with Federal. Each of these magnificent pistols features Federal’s laser engraving and “1922-2022” dates, and custom machine engraving to celebrate this historic milestone in Federal’s incredible legacy.
